Studio 2 Ceramics got its start in 2005 when Jim Alworth was creating clay monsters instead of doing “serious art” and Grace Pardun was relieved that someone in the artist fellowship program was having fun!
We later married and became Studio 2 Ceramics – a nod to the first studio we shared: Studio #2 in the Thorpe Building in Northeast Minneapolis. We are local artists. We work in the Solar Arts Building and purchase our supplies from local businesses.
Our art is inspired by the creativity and generosity of our friends.
